i kinda forgot that this coming week i actually have a research paper due...as well as 3 midterms...

soooo....much to my dismay....this week and next week are going to be even more crazy than the past few....so! probably another pause in xanga posting is expected.....sorry

when schoolwork attacks...

well as some of you may have noticed...i haven't posted in awhile...which is mainly due to schoolwork...(and i haven't really felt like posting lately)...i'm recovering from a pretty crazy two weeks...

i had 2 papers due for one class...as well as a rough draft of a final paper for another...and a group presentation...oh and on top of that i have physics homework...that was unusually hard....unusually harder than the already very hard physics homework...

did i mention i also had my chinese midterm which suddenly have gotten harder for some odd reason? (maybe it's just me...)

tuesday night this past week...i didn't sleep until 6 am....wednesday night of this past week...i also didn't sleep until 6 am...so two nights in a row..total..i got 5 hours of sleep...whee!

ech...ah well..glad this week is over...now to kinda get back on track normal-schoolwork wise..and whatnot...

i gotta clean my room....man it's kinda messy with papers all over....

so! hopefully i can get back into the flow of things...xanga too....

for those of you who missed my posts...(which is like..no one) i'm sorry...
...and for those of you who don't want to read any of my posts, i'm also sorry

research paper? sources?

ok, admittedly i haven't been the greatest student ever...but this kind of takes the cake for me this year at least

i just found oh, about an hour or so ago that for my class at noon tomorrow, i have to have three sources picked out...and a short paragraph describing each one...
....and they can't be internet sources

this is for my research paper...to which....my thesis was due last week...which i had to promptly make up

greeaat....so now i'm looking up journals and abstracts at 3 in the morning...hoping i can squeak by with this for now until i actually get something substantial...

ah well...stupid me for not looking at the syllabus earlier...dang physics homework...for...being...so...hard

whatever is true

just recently i've struggled with a few things....well...kind of not me personally...but sort of...it's more of an issue with some friends i guess

it's just that i don't particularly support drinking or drugs of any sort, so i got in a debate (i guess you'd call it that) and i started to think to myself...yeah there are lots of temptations in this world...but because they are tempting, does that make it right to succumb to it?

anyways...in church....we just so happen to sing this song...and well...it kinda struck home for me....because when anyone faces temptation..i think we should remember this song....it's goodstuff

eh..the rest of it is not as relevant...and i'm feeling lazy....but that part really hit me....

now i know i have a thing against pasting lyrics and whatnot...but well, this one is kinda short and somewhat repetative...

this is how you resist temptation....right here...it is so much higher...and so much better than any temptation has to offer...

when faced with temptation...when faced with evil...when faced with worry or doubt...fix your thoughts on what is true, what is right, what is pure and lovely....fix your thoughts on Jesus...and nothing in this world will stand a chance...

picture post: 8 height

if anyone checked the picture webpages...you would've noticed that this picture has been up for a day already...and that i've just been lazy about putting it up and writing a post about it......but since no one does....because i normally write about it here...whatever...heh

well i thought i'd simulate what a person standing at the height of 4 ft would see if he/she were to look at me...while i'm in my pj's...at night...in my room....

turned out kinda funky..but eh...good enough i guess...i'll try to take better pictures in the future...

oh! and those of you who are wondering why i don't just put the picture up right in the post here...and have it link to the higher resolution version...that's a very good question....

the answer? well...i feel that if it is going to be my profile picture....this post is going to be at the very top for about...eh....a day or so....
